Real Estate Drone Photography in Central Iowa
A listing photo taken from the street shows a house. A photo taken from 300 feet shows a property — the lot, the setback, the backyard, the tree cover, the access, and the neighborhood it sits inside. Those are the things a buyer is actually comparing when two homes in the same price band look nearly identical online.
What real estate drone photography actually gives you.

Real estate drone photography is the fastest way to make a listing legible at a glance. It does not replace interior photography; it answers the questions interior photography cannot, and it does it in a set of images that can be uploaded to the MLS the same week they are taken.

Where this service earns its keep.
New listings that need differentiation
In a subdivision where every third house looks the same from the street, aerial coverage is the only imagery that separates one listing from the next. Lot orientation, privacy and neighborhood context do the work.
Lots that are hard to read from the ground
Corner lots, flag lots, walk-out basements, deep backyards and lots backing to green space are all misunderstood in a ground photo and immediately obvious from above.
Realtors building a consistent presentation
Agents who use aerial coverage on every listing build a recognizable standard. Buyers notice, and sellers notice that their property was presented better than the competition.

Real Estate Drone Photography — asked and answered.
How many aerial photos do I get for a listing?
Essential Aerials includes 8 edited photographs from multiple perspectives and is the standard listing package. Property Showcase includes 12–15 photographs plus a 30–60 second aerial video for listings where motion matters. Larger properties are better served by Land & Acreage.
Should I book aerial photos before or after interior photography?
Either works, but the strongest listings have both. Aerial coverage is usually scheduled as close to the listing date as possible so the lawn, driveway and landscaping read as finished. If the home is still being prepared, schedule the flight for the day before photography.
Can you photograph a home in a tight subdivision?
Yes. Dense neighborhoods are normal — the flight is planned around the available space, nearby trees and any lines. If a particular angle is impossible, the coverage is built from the angles that do work rather than forcing a poor frame.
Do you photograph the property only, or the neighborhood too?
Both. A standard set includes frames that isolate the property and frames that show it in context, because buyers use both: one to evaluate the home, the other to evaluate the location.
