The studio

Aerial photography, done deliberately.

Iowa Aerial Photography is a small Central Iowa studio built around one idea: property is easier to understand from above, and the imagery should make that obvious in a single glance.

01Why aerial

The view that changes the conversation.

Most property marketing is built from the inside out: rooms, finishes, a front elevation. Aerial work starts outside and works in — the parcel, the access, the neighbors, the land use, the setting. For a suburban listing that context is what separates two similar homes. For acreage and commercial property it is the entire story.

The studio exists to make that view available to the people selling Central Iowa property: realtors, agents, landowners, farmers, and commercial owners who need their property to be understood quickly and accurately.

Work is kept deliberately focused. Real estate stills, aerial video, land and acreage, and commercial sites — no unrelated services, no dispatch network, and no account manager between you and the person flying the shoot.

02How the work is done

Four habits that show up in every delivery.

01

Plan the flight, then fly the plan

Every shoot starts with the property, not the drone. Sun position, the angle that shows the lot, the height that shows the acreage, and any airspace limits are decided before the case is opened.

02

Grade by hand

Aerial imagery is easy to overcook. Files are edited individually so Iowa's greens stay green and the sky stays believable — imagery that looks like the property, not like a preset.

03

Fly legally, every time

Commercial drone work in the United States is regulated by the FAA. Airspace, authorization and site conditions are checked before each flight, and a location that cannot be flown is declined rather than fudged.

04

Deliver on the listing timeline

Property marketing moves on a calendar. Stills are delivered in 1–2 days, video packages in 2–3, and weather reschedules are communicated immediately so nobody is guessing.

03The flight plan

Four steps from request to delivery.

Clear timing, one point of contact, and a shoot date that survives an Iowa forecast.

  1. 01

    Request

Share the property address, property type, package and preferred date. You get a reply with available windows and a confirmed price.

  2. 02

    Flight plan

Before the shoot, sun angle, airspace, access and site conditions are checked. If the weather will not cooperate, the flight moves — it does not get cancelled.

  3. 03

    Shoot day

A short visit on site, flown in passes that cover the front approach, the lot plan, the surroundings and any detail worth keeping.

  4. 04

    Delivery

Edited stills and video arrive as a private digital download, sized for the MLS, your website and social — with time to spare before the listing goes live.
